That's all the CARS practice I did separate from the full lengths I took and today I learned I scored a 132 on the CARS section. That is all I did to study for the mcat those days. However, the 2 days before that I did the CARS Q Pack 1 (I believe I did exactly 60 questions each day). I only did one test but I thought it was a quality test, so I would recommend using this resource as well.ĮDIT: Forgot one very important thing! The day before the exam I did nothing.

TPR Critical Analysis and Reasoning Skills book - there is also a PDF of this one floating around that I got. In general, the logic of these tests is pretty solid, and there is a lot of questions that seem pretty simple which is good because you do not want to miss those on the real MCAT.

I think that some passages are drawn from disciplines that would not be put on the current MCAT as well but I did not pay attention to that. Well since that is 7 questions more than the current MCAT is, so I just did these with 90 minutes. These are for the old MCAT, and for some reason have 60 questions each, and say to complete in 85 minutes. I was afraid I was going to run out of the NS tests, so I printed some of these. Section 6: = 38/53 (wrote "took this one late at night")ĮK Old CARS Book - Okay this one is a PDF that is floating around. This may be due to me doing the tests in here after studying the other book, so I was more used to the logic though. It has 12 full-length CARS tests and in my opinion, I ran into less frustrating questions on this one. If you have the $ I would do this after you do the NS Strategy and Practice book. Next Step 108 passages - This is a good resource as well. It comes with some warm-up practice, some half sections, some passages with words redacted to simulate if you are running out of time, and 3 full sections. It has some really hard passages and a lot of questions that will leave you pissed off and scratching your head but it's still good practice. Next Step CARS Strategy and Practice - This is a good resource.

I would recommend starting your CARS practice like this since its free and available on your computer. Khan Academy CARS Practice Passages - Started with this very early and did it without paying attention to time. I'm going to review all the materials I used and list the scores I got on them so that if you are using the same resources you can compare. Got my score back today and I got a 132 on CARS. /r/GAMSAT - Australian & UK Medical school Admission Test.P/S = Psychological, Social, and Biological Foundations of Behavior (Tentative) AAMC Sample FL Score ConversionĬ/P = Chemical and Physical Foundations of Biological SystemsĬARS = Critical Analysis and Reasoning Skillsī/B = Biological and Biochemical Foundations of Living Systems # Correct -> Scaled Score Converter for AAMC Material
